Prabowo praised the participants for carrying out the ceremony with great spirit and instructed the Ceremony Commander to personally thank each individual for their efforts. The event saw 80 percent of invitations distributed to the general public, with highlights including a Flag and Proclamation Procession, cultural performances, free culinary offerings, and a fireworks display near the National Monument. The celebrations will culminate in the United Independence Carnival in 2025, marking the peak of the 80th Independence Day festivities.
