Titi Nurdianti, a Jakarta resident originally from Cilacap, Central Java, found the moment to be both prideful and emotional. Securing an official ticket to attend the historic ceremony was a challenging journey for Titi, as she had to compete online with other Indonesians. Finally obtaining a ticket brought overwhelming joy and emotions for her first experience at the event. Traditionally dressed in attire from West Nusa Tenggara, Titi expressed her rare opportunity to learn more about the region through her outfit choice. Witnessing the flag-lowering ceremony and participating in the festive parade toward the National Monument created lasting memories for Titi. Amid tears of joy, she offered prayers and hopes for Indonesia’s future progress, prosperity, justice, and peace.
