Sumedang – Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto was warmly welcomed by thousands of residents, including farmers, at the event ‘Guidance for Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmers and Participatory Food Estate in West Java Province to Support the Increase in National Rice and Corn Production’ in Sumedang, on Tuesday (30/1).
On this occasion, Prabowo attended at the invitation of Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman and will speak about agricultural extension and food security through the Food Estate.
Thousands of residents, mostly farmers and livestock breeders, were eager to shake hands and capture moments with Prabowo. Some young people also attended wearing their college jackets.
“Mr. Prabowo! Mr. Prabowo,” the residents replied.
Prabowo on the occasion wore a cream safari outfit and a Totopong (a Sundanese traditional headband). He arrived around 10:55 AM and was greeted enthusiastically by residents who had crowded the event location since morning. (SENOPATI)
