Serang – Prabowo Subianto, a number 2 presidential candidate, attended the Ndaru Bersalawat event “Seribu Ulama-Sejuta Santri” in Serang, Banten, on Saturday (27/1).
At the event, in addition to members of the Prabowo-Gibran TKN, some figures such as former Chief of Staff of the Army (KSAD) General TNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman; and former Head of BNPT Boy Rafli Amar, were seen.
The retired officers from the TNI AD and Polri attended wearing light blue shirts which are the ‘uniforms’ of Prabowo-Gibran supporters.
On that occasion, Dudung invited the people of Banten to support Prabowo-Gibran, the number 2 candidate.
“I am from Serang, my village is in Cilegon. So if Mr. Dudung (supports) Mr. Prabowo, everyone should (support). Agree? Agree right?” said Dudung, which was immediately greeted with a ‘yes’ from the attending crowd.
“One round! One round! One round,” he continued.
Dudung then revealed that he knows Prabowo well. In Dudung’s eyes, Prabowo is a true nationalist figure, who always prioritizes the nation and the people of Indonesia.
“I know Mr. Prabowo well, we both had tasks in the operational areas. And everywhere, if his chest is split, the red and white still fly at 12 o’clock,” said Dudung.
He believes that Prabowo can lead Indonesia towards a better direction. Because, according to Dudung, all that is in Prabowo’s mind is the nation, the country, and the people of Indonesia.
“In his mind, his head is only for the nation and the country. There are no personal interests, only the interests of the nation and the country. I believe that, that’s why I step forward to support Mr. Prabowo. Long live 02! Long live 02! Long live 02!” Dudung emphasized. (SENOPATI)
